If you have a Stable Union must submit a copy of the deed of prenuptial agreement, if the marriage has taken place at a later date to December / 1977 regime of full communion with or separate property.
If you are Separated or Divorced, must submit a copy of the Marriage Certificate with Annotation, or Statement of Audience.
Foreigners not resident in Brazil, must submit:
- Copy of Registration of Individuals (CPF)
- Copy of Passport
- Copy of the Public Attorney for individuals residing in Brazil with powers to buy and sell real estate and specific clauses to notify and quote extra attorney and court
- Copy of ID and proof of residence of the procurator

Show if there are debt linked to the property and if it is properly registered.
- Certified copy of the final deed on behalf of the vendors, registered in the Registry of Property
- Vintenária negative certificate of encumbrances. This document contains the entire history of the property in the last 20 years and specifies whether any debt
- Registration reipersecutórias and sales actions (to know if the property was sold to someone informally). The document is issued by the Registrar of Real Estate
- Tax clearance certificate issued by the city or a copy of the booklet of property tax for the last five years
- Certified copy of the property tax year, including installments paid to date business, issued by the city
- Registration of the building adjacent to the Registry of Property
- Floor plan approved by the city or sketch with dimensions, signed by the engineer or architect with respective number of Crea (professional registration)
- Condominium debt clearance certificate (in case of apartment)

Should be done with accompanying specialist lawyer in the area and must contain:
- All information of buyers and sellers, such as full name, ID, SSN, title election, profession and marital status
- Total value of property
- Payment
- Value given as a sign
- Period of paid installments and interest rates involved
- Penalties involved in case of termination of contract, delay in delivery of the property or delivery of the property under conditions different from those known and traded
- Commission of the housing
- If the property is sold with some furniture, items must also be included in the document
